課程概述

This course aims to provide students with advanced knowledge about contemporary language processing research investigated with Neurolinguistic techniques. The course will be conducted in a seminar format. Topics include but are not limited to embodied understanding of language, hemispheric differences in language understanding, metaphor understanding, and language and aging. Topics may be adjusted according students’ research interest.

課程目標
The goals of this course are:
1. Students will be familiar with contemporary and important research topics in Neurolinguistics.
2. Student will receive training in presenting and criticizing research articles, and in writing a feasible research proposal in English.
課程要求
Students will be expected to read assigned papers, make oral presentations, participate in classroom discussion, and prepare a research proposal.
